Methods to Attract and Retain Teachers in Hard to Staff Schools

This report, prepared in cooperation with district and education association leaders from three of the Denver-metro area's largest school districts (Aurora, Denver and Jefferson County), identifies a series of best practices for attracting and retaining teachers in hard-to-staff schools.  The best practices were drawn from teacher surveys and principal interviews conducted in high performing schools from across the country that serve high percentages of at-risk children.
